The all-wheel-drive 2023 Jeep Compass comes in Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Limited, Trailhawk, (RED), and High Altitude trims. Our test vehicle was an Altitude, which is basically a Latitude The current-generation Compass has four wheel sizes: 16, 17, 18, and 19. Then, hopefully, the vehicle will operate but without ABS, 4WD, etc.
The Ram 1500 is a part time 4Ă—4 System. If you start to fill slippage while drive you press the 4WD Auto button and then you are set. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade all have Full Time 4Ă—4 System. To put these vehicles into 4 Wheel Drive Low, shift into Neutral, press the 4wd Low button, and then shift to Drive.
Every model comes with a 180-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. A six-speed manual transmission is standard. A six-speed automatic is available in models with front-wheel drive. For models equipped with four-wheel drive, a nine-speed automatic is available. The Compass gets an estimated 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.
